Role: Lead Designer,
Motion Graphics
Project Scope:
Visual strategy, modular templates, team leadership, and content design for bilingual social media engagement
Social media was a key tool for outreach and engagement across platforms. In close collaboration with the CDC and our social marketing team, I translated strategy into compelling visuals—art directing for key awareness days, guiding designers, and shaping content that shared on real stories and connected audiences to vital health resources.
Our design system prioritized clarity, speed, and adaptability—enabling efficient production of high-performing content while maintaining brand consistency.
Highlights:
Help direct over 380+ social media assets (2021–2024) for @StopHIVTogether and @StartTalking, supporting sustained account growth (Together: +7.1% to 36.7K followers; STSH: +9.4% to 6.5K) and generating 66M+ impressions and 774K+ video views in 2024.
Art-directed multiple original series, including Today in HIV History, which generated 1K+ engagements, 16K+ impressions, and 50+ clicks to the Together website.
This social media series features animated quotes from Let’s Stop HIV Together participants, adapted from the campaign’s print testimonial posters. By shortening the original quotes for social formats, the animations deliver authentic, impactful messages with an upbeat and energetic style. Following the success of the initial Stop HIV Together template, a customized version was developed for the MSM-focused Start Talking. Stop HIV page. These animations were used in A/B testing to measure audience engagement, providing valuable insights for ongoing campaign optimization.
